Killer Chihuahua! consists of twelve 2-3 minute episodes, which were all produced by Katy Dolle, and written, directed, and edited by Steve Kahn. They were shot with a very minimal crew on a shoestring budget, on the assumption that good content could sustain viewers, regardless of video quality. Kahn Artist Filmworks hopes that this web series will transform the nature and broaden the scope of internet webseries. It is radically different in its natural style, and in its approach. Killer Chihuahua! includes not only scripted webisodes, but also several “viral video” teasers that are more in the traditional YouTube style.

History: Killer Chihuahua! was originally conceived by Steve Kahn, wanting to share his Chihuahua, Cyndi, with the rest of the world. He wanted to blend his love of Cyndi with his love of filmmaking, and so he got the idea to make a web series.

The original title for the series was “Cyndi & Me,” but that was later changed in favor of the catchier title Killer Chihuahua!. When Katy Dolle came into the picture, they decided to include her in the series as well. The ups and downs of a new relationship can be crazy, and when you add an evil doggie into the mix, it gets even crazier.
