The bun's in the oven... or something like that...

This has been a tough time for webseries(es). Tough because Quarterlife, the darling of the internet webseres destined to go on to greatness on NBC completely bombed on its first outing into prime time. When I say bomb I'm not being melodramatic here. It bombed so bad that it was NBC's lowest rated premiere in the last 17 years. Stink bomb.

I HATE gameshows!!!

I hate them more than anything.

They're a throwback to 1950's television when they didn't know what the hell they were doing with all of those shows like "Truth or Consequences" or "People Are Funny" or "The $64,000 Question".

Taxes -- where art and commerce collide.

Today, I finally had to break down and add up all of my tax deductions from last year. My mom has been bugging me to do it, and she also says that next year (eek!) I will have to do my own taxes! That'll be the day. Looking through all of my old bank statements and adding up gas, costs of printing headshots, and all other acting related expenses, I started to think about the relationship between art and commerce.

Love and loss and the most evil Chihuahua in the world

I woke up thinking about my moms dog Romeo this morning. Romeo is kind of her ex-dog because he passed away a couple of months ago. He was featured in one of our episodes here...

world domination and poetry....everyone's idea of fun.

Did you hear in Steve's blog that we're getting a bonus episode out soon? Exciting stuff. I am very happy and overwhelmed all at the same time about what we will be doing. Our current plan for world domination includes...

1) possibly adapting Killer Chihuahua! into other forms of media
2) sprucing up the site to make it more interactive
and 3) thinking about our next project (a short film with our script in development)

with all of this on my plate, somehow I still manage to get distracted. Oh well. What can you do? The important part is to remain inspired, even in the middle of confusion.

Big meeting today gets my wheels turning... Even more.

Have to keep things vague here but Katy and I had a big meeting about the future of our series KILLER CHIHUAHUA! It's exciting news if things all pan out but with the meeting brought pressure and even more questions without answers.

my adventures on Cosmo sex forums...and what The Sopranos taught me about Therapy

Cyndi stole one of my tampons today. I joked around and asked her if she needed to use it. Now, normally the subject of tampons and sex is taboo...but it got me thinking.

Promoting the webseries KILLER CHIHUAHUA! on YouTube by optimizing the screencap

In my last blog I talked about how we were trying (and failing) to attract loyal KILLER CHIHUAHUA! viewers by grabbing the interest of the typical YouTube viewer and drawing them to our site where we would mercilessly assault their unsuspecting eyes with HUGE NEON Pepsi and Coke and Nike ad banners plastered all over our website.

the first entry is always the hardest...

Today is a bit of a rainy day, and Steve and I are struggling to put together this blog. I think that this week I will be updating the site with some new graphics, new colors, all of that.

The past few weeks, we've taken a hiatus from releasing new episodes so that we can focus on publicity and marketing.

Advertising and publicity for the webseries KILLER CHIHUAHUA! on YouTube

Driving to my mom’s house this morning I saw a sign wavers who’s paid to stand there all day like a mobile billboard for the cars that zoom by: “Piano Lessons” and a phone number I didn’t take down.

And for a second I thought of making a “KILLER CHIHUAHUA!” sign in all red
